Designed to Rock the House

All the controls are designed for extreme robustness and quality. As with the Otus Dualdeck, the layout of the controls is optimized both for usability and show factor. The controls are backlit with bright LED's for easy utilization in poorly illuminated situations. Extra physical controls and selectors are provided for tactile response.

Otus RAW is also designed to fit on top of a standard vinyl turntable. This makes it easy to quickly plug in into an existing setup. Otus RAW weights 2kg, so it's firm and sturdy but still retains its portable nature.

7,5" Jog Wheel

An illuminated, high resolution 7.5" jog wheel with sensitivity adjustments is the heart of Otus RAW. The touch sensitive top part allows you to scratch or cue the track by rotating the wheel. The outer rim of the wheel functions as a pitch bender.

Two Heavy Duty Pitch Sliders

Otus RAW is equipped with two long and sturdy SL-turntable-style pitch sliders. Use them for two decks or to control pitch and tempo separately.

Velocity Pads

The four large, velocity-sensitive buttons similar to modern samplers enable creative control over rhythmic patterns and launching effects.

Four Selector Jog Wheels

Each corner of Otus RAW features an assignable jog wheel controller with an integrated select button in the middle – created for optimal file browsing or effects work.

2 Rotary + 4 Continuous-Rotary Knobs

Designed for Headphone control, EQ's and effects. The continuous knobs act also as push buttons for EQ kills or effect launching.

6 Large Custom Buttons with Group Selector

The Group Selector switch effectively quadruples the number of Custom Buttons you can use for actions such as jumping to cue points or launching effects.

Touch Pad

A Touch Pad with two buttons for mouse or X/Y effects control. This makes touching computer while playing unnecessary.

Deck Switch Button

Otus RAW features two layers of controls, which can be swapped by double clicking the switch button. This enables operating two virtual decks with just one controller.

Integrated Soundcard with Analog and Digital Output

Professional level analog and digital outputs make connecting Otus RAW to your favourite mixer or PA system quick and easy. The Otus RAW also features a separate heaphone output for mixing in software.

Works with Your Favorite DJ/VJ/MIDI Software

The advanced MIDI mapper and ASIO drivers make creating configurations for your favourite DJ/VJ software easy and intuitive. The EKS support pages contain downloads and instructions for setting Otus RAW up with different software.

Fully Compatible with Other EKS Gear

Otus RAW is designed to be fully compatible with all the previous and future EKS controllers and products. If you have an XP10, XP5 or an Otus Dualdeck, they can all be used simultaneously to control different functions, decks or even different MIDI software altogether. With EKS ASIO drivers you can easily route out audio through all of your EKS controllers if needed.
