Paul woolford continues his ‘modernist’ trilogy with number two in the series which sees paul dropping two cutting edge electronic club tracks. first up is “dimensions” a brilliant house track with rhythm is rhythm flavored edits, an attention gragging synth line that snakes throughout the mix, phatelectronic bass and a wicked late night warehouse feel. on the flip “devil’s night fire” is a sparse electro workout similar to the underground aquatic sounds of detroit’s drexciya with heavyweight electro stabs and cold synth chords get edged along by a crisp 909 drum workout.
