"enemy mine" is the title of hamburg-based pelle buys's first solo release. considering his other projects einmusik and error error, he belongs to the "wasted german
youth" (paul snowden) of young hamburg-based rave producers. "enemy mine" however, is a pure counterdraft to this rave approach. the tracks are more his very
own statements on his emotional state ranging between love, despair, going out (to party hard) and loneliness. the attitude can be compared to blumfeld's first album
"ich-maschine": are the two of us too many to be free? or do i need you to be myself? the title track "enemy mine" is very sedate and calming. it opens up a vast space
going for infinity. "saw off" is a deep chicago acid house track. a kind of jack your body in "smallville"! and at the end of the record, you will get a "tribute to solitude":
solitude and loneliness are more a kind of feeling than an attitude. here comes love techno.
