It was a bit like a dream come true when telepop music decided to do some sort of first label project with us, called refugee, by obvious reasons as hamburg is certainly not paris. ;) it was even better when they decided to let this be all these tracks i was able to listen to on various parties and occasions all over france during the last half year and never exactly new what it was. the original version is already a spine shivering beast par excellance, a haunting beauty of a dusted ambient pop pearl, vox by angela mcclusky whose amorph timbre reminds on bjork or nelly furtado gets remixed 3 times and all three mixes stand out. tim paris spreads his nervous flickering paris electro layers on top , up and down the mood and frequences change, touching strings , wobbling base , electronique paris house frenzy with snippets of angela´s breaking vox - a beast! john tejada , the biggest suprise here delivers one of the most positive and irresistably kicking mixes to date , easy one of the future electro house pearls of this year - open production , stripped down , yet not too much and blissfully rearanged to shine and stand out evrytime the some comes up again - even more with this beautiful voice on top. all this contered by a hefty lory d metamorphic remix , pounding juicy build up bizniz this is adouble a side to easily make us yet “look forward” to their next release. |
