Marcello giordani is our second new and exciting signing from “bella italia”. his productions and dj sets have been inspired by the n.y.c. club legends “paradise garage” and “music box” and the late 70’s and early ’80s club sounds they featured when disco and electro began to evolve into early house music and the whole thing got big. shogun is a massive dry bassdriven bleepy discoid electro-house tune. ruff and dirty! with a solid groove that moves any floor out there. very original and inspiring, which also got us on to his sound and we decided to release his fresh tunes on players paradise. it’s different as the rest out there but will perfectly fit into your nu disco set alongside dfa or lindström. man of the moment serge santiágo (radioslave) has grown to a major remix wizard, with his latest goldfrapp or tiga interpretations he has become a household name when it comes to deep and dirty reworks with that special disco-ish touch. the remix he did on shogun is without any doubt one of his strongest works to date, very similar to his last outing on the great arcobaleno imprint he started recently. there will be a magic second part of ‘synthetic music’ coming your way later this year !
