Do you know a famous hamburg – berlin – connection? no worries if not, here comes a new one that is worth checking it out! hamburg’s kompass musik welcomes the first “foreign” producer team. until now, we’ve only featured artists from out hometown, like extrawelt, pelle buys and philipp wolgast. but now we are proud to present our latest members: antilôpè & tigerskin a.k.a. justin case & roger rubit present: wishmob! got it? marcel jochman, aka antilôpè also runs his own label imprints “opossum recordings” and “opossum mini”. after a few years of connection with rico henschel aka sweetn.candy and christian hoffmann aka blackwall, he made the decision to build his own label back in 2004. meanwhile marcel is producing tracks as antilôpè in company with alex krüger aka tigerskin and will soon also be releasing on force sense, eisfach schallplatten and mermaids in space. alex krüger is a name you might have heard about even if you are completely not into electronic dance music. beneath his alter ego tigerskin, he is also known for his releases as dub taylor, korsakov and even a few more. tigerskin recently has some brilliant releases on highgrade, dirt crew rec., liebe*detail and, surprise surprise, on opossum. with his different aliases he stands for more than a decade of highest quality dance music and is with no doubt one of the most respected producers in the global electronic music circuit. chapeau! these two gentle friends from berlin city now present two stunning tracks on kompass musik. with “just in case…” on the a-side, they easily capture every dancefloor by its forward rolling bassline, catchy synth riffs and a smart drum programming. the weapon of your choice. on the flip, it’s “roger, rub it!”, a bit more reduced, but not less functional. if you got the right timing, this one will cause some nice moments on the floor as well. promised! catalogue no.: kompa004 release date: january 2007 artist: antilôpè & tigerskin titles: a-side: just in case / b-side: rog
